Financial services, company and trust disputes form the majority of Gough Law’s case load. The firm and its advocates have extensive experience in this area, acting against financial services and trust providers in negligence and breach of mandate/trust claims, against banks and financial product providers and acting for beneficiaries in contentious trust disputes. We also act regularly in disputes between shareholders of companies. Although we are familiar with the full range of alternative dispute resolution and mediation options and will recommend them where they offer a realistic prospect of achieving results, we also understand that the nature of some disputes renders them unsuitable for ADR. Where this is the case Gough Law will take the matter to trial, relying on the extensive trial experience of its advocates.
